Beginning Push Hands
In this partner exercise, postures and movements from the form are applied to Push Hands, also known as Sensing Hands (T'ui Shou). Students are introduced to one-handed Sensing Hands practice and begin to learn to "listen" to a partner's balance, timing, and tension and yield to their movements. "Sensing Hands" is taught in a non-confrontational way, focusing on our stability, balance, relaxation and ability to interact with another in harmony. 20 Classes.
Prerequisites: Fundamentals 1-3
This course introduces students to two-handed Push Hands as students continue to refine technique, sensitivity and awareness in relation to others. 60 Classes.
